Introduction

This tutorial explains in detail the steps for MYSQL Database and SQLITE Database for Code Igniter REST project

Add Apache Access Rule

Go to project root folder and create the access rule file.

A) USING MYSQL

1. Create db yourdomain_dbrestci

2. Create user yourdomain_dbrestci

3. Add user yourdomain_dbrestci to db yourdomain_dbrestci

4. Run PHPMYADMIN

5. Create table

6. Edit project database configuration

in application/config/database.php

USING SQLITE3

1. Download DB Browser For SQLITE

2. Run and Open database.sqlite

3. Create table

4. Add db folder to project

Go to CI application folder, create subfolder “db”.
